<token>  element

The token element defines a word or phrases that may be spoken by the caller in an XML grammar. A token may contain whitespace, (if properly quoted), and may contain uppercase characters as well. Of note is the fact that any token containing whitespace is further broken into individual words by the voice browser. GrXML also allows for capital letters in a token. However, for dictionary lookups and the auto-pronunciation to work, it will be converted to lowercase as part of the compilation process. Hence, separate pronunciations for the same word written with different cases is disallowed.

Hello Shane,

I think you'll find the information you're looking for at the following link:

http://docs.voxeo.com/voicexml/2.0/t_15.htm#start

Here you'll find our tutorial on initiating outbound vxml applications via HTTP.  You'll also find some juicy source code that you can play around with if you like.

Hope this helps!

Cheers,

Jeff Menkel
